From a US Deal Tool to AssetOS – and why the difference was bigger than expected.

Helvetica Property Investors is an established Swiss real estate asset manager that continuously evaluates a wide range of transaction opportunities while maintaining the highest standards for process quality, transparency, and regulatory traceability. With growing deal flow and increasing demands on reporting and decision documentation, the question of how to structure the transaction process more efficiently came into focus.
A dedicated transaction solution was already in use – but showed its limits in daily operations:
- The deal pipeline was not always centrally and uniformly visible.
- Decision processes were documented in a decentralized manner, making traceability difficult.
- Creating investment meeting materials and transaction reports required significant manual effort.

Implementation

Switching from the Previous Provider
Helvetica was already using a dedicated transaction solution from a US provider. The switch to AssetOS was a deliberate decision: The European real estate market has different requirements. Transaction structures, reporting standards, and compliance requirements differ fundamentally from the US markets that many tools were primarily built for. Additionally, data hosting in Switzerland and the ability to work directly with the development team were both structurally non-negotiable.
